Although corns and calluses are both caused by repeated pressure and friction, they're not exactly the same. Corns are usually smaller, deeper and can be quite painful, while calluses tend to be larger areas of thickened skin that develop to protect your feet.
Trying to remove them yourself can often make the problem worse, especially if you have diabetes or poor circulation.
A Foot Health Practitioner can safely assess the cause, provide gentle treatment and offer advice on preventing them from returning.
If your feet are becoming uncomfortable, don't ignore them—professional treatment can make a real difference.
